I didn't notice any temperature increase here.. Are you sure it's driver related?

me neither, just a small fps boost by cpu bound games.

no tempterature changes here either, teste in deus ex: md and quantum break.

Never saw a driver affect temps before unless there was increased GPU utilization as well.

Open notepad and type in without the quotations:
    "GameTime.MaxVariableFps 60"
Then save it as user.cfg and place it in your game folder.
I had stutter before and now it's really smooth.
Also force vsync through nvidia control panel to unlock cut-scenes to 60fps if you're getting a 30fps cap.

After 1 hour 20 lap race in GT Legends , very nice and lovely and smooth :-

Runs fo4 (ultra on 34" 3440 x 1440 gsync 100 refresh) and tdu2 just fine, my two current love interests.

I installed these after running DDU, before installing the new 1070 SC. Everything installed fine and games are running great, so far. I tried the new fast sync, seems ok..

They're adding mGPU for DX12, shortly. In the meantime, apparently you should disable SLI in NVCP before loading GOW4 as it hinders, rather than helps, at the moment.

The days of nvidia-provided SLI functionality are now over, I think. With DX12, that responsibility shifts to the game developers. Previously, the developers didn't have anything to do with SLI. It was nvidia who did that. Now, it seems it's 100% on the game devs to do it.

This generation is the worst ever for SLI gaming!
Hope that future games will adopt DX12 multiGpu flawlessly or multiGPU systems will die!

yeah it hinders and causes negative type effects.
and one gpu clock goes up and down erratic and i think it causes little micro stutters.

just disable it and then enable fast sync. ;)

Developers have to code for SLI being possible for quite some time now in DX11 as well.

But they didn't explicitly access two GPUs with DX11, that has changed with 12.

They can use the implicit multiadapter which is essentially the same way they've done it in DX11, with only a bit more coding on the game engine side.

Explicit mode allows for linked GPUs as well which is pretty much the same as SLI/CF in DX11 as well although with more work on the side of developer again.

This seems to be a better driver than all the 372s for me. As others have mentioned the SLI memory usage reporting bug is still around, but this one at least doesn't get me corruption in Total War: Warhammer.
