I just picked up a GTX 660 Ti and the CD actually comes with the 304.87 drivers.

I wanted to share with the rest of the community and was wondering what would be the safest way to get the drivers out to you guys to try out. Rip to an .ISO or is there a way to just zip the setup files needed?

Copy the cd to folder than compress with 7zip with lzma2 compression
And change name and upload than share somehow

Like said above, add to archive using 7-Zip with LZMA2 and Ultra compression, add to Mediafire or similar.

How much did 660 Ti cost to you? :)

The Goose: True, but for those that may have issues with that set of drivers, etc. Just in case anyone wanted them.

It cost $299, bone stock reference Nvidia card @ Best Buy.

I'll go ahead and compress those files and get them uploaded for those who are interested. :)

i don't think you will need to compress the whole cd. just look on the cd for a folder named drivers. Copy that to your desktop and compress that.

If you got time, it would be nice if you could give us the performance of this card on games like BF3 etc.

    Thanks in advance

It says 660 TI has 192 bit Memory bandwidth and 2GB of Video RAM. But how is that possible? 2048 cannot be divide by 192 :3eyes:

Seems the bandwidth is smaller and 24 ROPs instead of 32, most of the rest is identical though.

File is too big for media fire, looking for another place to host the file, it's around 500MB.

Batoot: Is there a demo I can download somewhere? I don't play BF3 but would be more than happy to try it out to test FPS of such a GPU hungry game.

Sweet! It really is 300$. Probably my next card.

It has mixed density memory chips, just like GTX 550 Ti.

Would you be able to upload the 64-bit version of these drivers?

I'm hoping they fix broken SLI mode for my evga gtx680's on my machine that started in the 304.79 drivers in both Win7 64bit and Win8 RTM 64bit.

I've already tried the 305.xx driver posted the other day and it does not correctley install on Win8 RTM.

would greatly appreciate the upload =D

Easiest way to get them here is to install the drivers (or really just launch the driver install to the point where you choose what parts to install, a clean install, ext ext), and go to C drive, and then the Nvidia folder there. You should see the drivers extracted from the installer. Zip is up and upload.

you can use www.minus.com to upload them in a .rar or whatever . No file size limits there AFIK.

144GB/s bandwidth really doesn't seem like much of an improvement over my GTX 460 OC'd with 128GB/s

I did a search on bestbuy.com on my phone and all I came up with are 560ti. I used 660ti for the search?

They aren't officially released yet, but there are enough incompetent Best Buy employees that your chance of finding one on the shelf early isn't half bad.
