46fps average for a GTX570 with everything maxed except MSAA sounds about right.

It is an average after all, and not a minimum.

Did it work for you? Apparently that tweak works due to some frame buffer bug in Nvidia drivers, so it probably doesn't work on AMD cards.

So is performance in this game low or is it about right? I get the impression it's low. In that case it should get fixed right?

I would love to know as I want to buy it in the Steam sale and don't want a game that is gonna run like poop when it should not. I am not gonna use AA or Physx so any ideas?

    Thanks all.

For me with FXAA high, Physx high and maxed settings in DX9 I get constant 60 fps.

In DX11 with DX11 on, tessellation high, physx high I get about 40fps avg but with stuttering and fps dips down to 20.

Lowering the settings in DX11, including completely turn tesselation off any disabling pshyx only gives maybe 5 more fps.

But don't let people fool you. The game in DX9 looks 95% as good as DX11. Sure it has that extra bit of icing in DX11. But the difference is not profound in like Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2.

The Batman Inc. Batskin is free here in the UK but the Challenge Maps show as costing £1.99 for me therefore not quite free at all. Boo-hoo! :wanker:

    Hi friends!!!

Low Gpu Usage in Outdoors, Around 50-60% so low Fps around 35-40, when Gpu usage hits 90% solid 60fps, is it a game problem or driver optimization problem, im on AMD 12.1 Preview.....

Batman FPS boost DX11 and DX9 using apex dll from Mafia 2

Batman FPS boost DX11 and DX9 using apex dll from Mafia 2.Of course the dll disables paper flying around and some cloth movement.
Its an increase in FPS and I was just messing around so I thought I put it here.

    Renamed
    APEX_Clothing.dll from mafia 2
    to
    APEX_Clothing_x86.dll
    and placed it in

    X:Steam\steamapps\common\batman2\Binaries\Win32

Around 20 FPS in DX11 maxed more did not bother with DX9 screen

    Normal game DX11 maxed

Give it a try see how it works.
For those who do not have Mafia 2,here are the files.
