Recording the Desktop?

    Previously, I was able to record my desktop (Windows itself, not 3d applications) with MSI Afterburner, but I cannot seem to do so anymore.

    Any ideas?

    I've been searching for hours, but still no dice. Is there a way to force MSI AB to record the desktop, maybe via explorer.exe?

    Been searching for hours now, still no dice. Is there any way to force MSI Afterburner to record the desktop, maybe via the explorer process?

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, sometimes it works once, but then I can't do it again.

    Doesn't fraps have a mode for this? its been years since i used it and don't remember, but its worth looking into?

    Afterburner is letting me record the desktop again, though I didn't change anything afaik. Thanks though. :)

    Desktop recording is initiated only when there are no other 3D applications running in background. Click <i> to see if there is some application holding 3D and redirecting video capture requests to itself.
