Nice one asder00, as usual. Keep up the great work, community is grateful, or I am! ;)

Cant test now, aint at home now. Have my nvidia system with me at my girlfriends house, but even new drivers make me want to go home just for testing these? :) Priorities arent maybe my greatest strengts, but a drivergeek will always be a drivergeek (pc maniac?).

Please do post here what you find intresting about them so I know what to expect? :)

This is not CCC 11.4c but 11.4a ;-)
And it's only for HD6600 series probably, because for my GPU is not working... (setup show error about hardware incompatible)

Sorry guys atm i can't test them, also for mobility users you will have to wait for the mod i can't do that right now.

By the build numbers it looks like the 11.4 whql are newer (whql: 8.841.0 11.4c: 8.840.9), but this driver was compiled on the 27 of april.

And by reading the release notes looks like this driver is useless for us.
But maybe they sneaked something new into them, try with some games, and don't forget to check for the corner bug.

If these are dated the 27th, then surely they are newer than the WHQL's, as they are only dated the 5th. :3eyes:

Model number makes sense, the OpenGL version is older. Look at the driver number:
    11.4 (27 April) - 8.84.9
    11.4 (05 April) - 8.841

So, technically the driver versions are:
    11.4 (27 April) - 8.840.9
    11.4 (05 April) - 8.841.0

Making the older driver newer. The 27 April etc refers to the packaging date of the driver. Since the '11.4' refers to the package, and '8.841' refers to the contained driver, and the contained driver in its string contains the packaging date, this is where the confusion comes from. Also, since the package is actually made up of other components, they can be mismatched as long as they are compatible.

Therefore, since the packaging date 27 April is more recent, a more recent control panel is utilised, however the actual driver component is older. If you really wanted to, you could copy the 27 April control panel and any other components which are newer (Avivo or OpenCL etc, maybe!) over the install compnents in the 05 April version and then install, in which case you would have the latest driver + latest everything elese available to. This should be fine as they are compatible, its not like running the 27 April control panel on display driver 10.5 or anything!
