is there a link on the full features list planned for official release? i just want to see what all the final version will have
I'm not sure if you guys noticed/know this link here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/dd353205.aspx At the bottom of the web site you can select the Windows 7 version and language you're interested in to download. Clicking on the link simply throws me a "Server busy" message though...
The x64 one just throws me back to the top of the page. How big is this d/load (Windows7), I've seen it posted as 3.15GB, is it really that big?
Here's another link that might work. Maybe. Later on... http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/wi...ownloading-and-installing-windows-7-beta.aspx
eeeeeeeeeek a quarter of my months quota and my month started on the 9th, why oh why wasn't this released on the 8th (my time) as the last day of the previous month has unlimited d/loads. waaaaaaa, waaaaaa, waaaambulance
ISO size x86 - en_windows_7_beta_dvd_x86_x15-29073.iso - 2,497.48 (MB) x64 - en_windows_7_beta_dvd_x64_x15-29074.iso - 3,230.10 (MB)
thanks Cybermancer though i had hoped for a bit more for that likely price tag of $200+ for full. figured i might as well go ahead and check it out myself just to see if i think it will be worth it or not. *edit: downloading now, only 3.6% though, its gonna be awhile
Dude why are you so skeptical? We already said it was aewsome. You don't trust your fellow Gurus? Every post you've made is "Blah blah blah I don't want to pay $200 for a UI upgrade blah blah blah" It's more than that, trust! It's what Vista should have been, forget Vista even existed. Write off the money you spent on it! You're not getting it back. Move on. Windows 7 will be good.
Good luck getting the site to load....MS servers are so overloaded that everytime I get the page to start loading the server times out.
