Actually I would prefer DTS encoding or I think its called DTS Interactive. In my opinion that should be better than DDL. I am not even sure why there are 2 different realtime encoding technologies but its there.

I think DTS-C is supported, I think its DTS-EX that is not which is 7.1

When referring to the encoding technology, such as saying Dolby Digital Live, It is DTS-C or DTS Connect. There are other included features such as DTS-Interactive and DTS:NEO PC. -Which are parts of DTS-Connect...

To elaborate further, DTS-Connect is a real time encoder technology package which is PC system based only. DTS-Interactive is a stream encoder and is part of the DTS-Connect package but can be found on various devices and systems such as AV players and IIRC some Playstation2 media. Both DDL and DTS-C are great for getting 5.1 over a digital connection but many will tell you they prefer DTS-C over DDL as it sounds better and is a better encoding technology. DTS:NEO PC is a upmix technology which upmixes 2.0 or above to 5.1 audio.
So in Dolby Digital Live you get Dolby Prologic IIX which upmixes stereo or above streams to 5.1 and in the DTS-Connect technology we Get DTS:Neo PC. Hope this helps.

Well, My current position in the industry affords me great insider information. Such as Auzentech is has been working on a HDMI 1.3 Combo card using Native PCI express and NON Down-Sampling HDMI 1.3 output.

    Answer from Auzen:

The schedule has been changed. Press Release will be available at the end of this month. We apologize for this delay.

What does "press release" mean? The actual product or only an official annoucement?

I am going to try and reinstall this card again for the 3rd time and see if I still get mic corruption and channel swapping.

Last time I setup the card I did both the control panel setup and the setup through the software on Vista x64.

@LedHed, can you get this card tested on another machine? This may help isolate the trouble.
