Never know you might not even need the one you have now. But you shouldn't need another one if you do. You find out when it comes. atleast you have a backward adapter incase something goes wrong.

Nope, you can get both at monoprice cheap. that adapter is 48 cents and the optical cable can be gotten for a dollar same with the shortest RCA cable they have at monoprice.

You have to use line out not line lin. Line in is for sending sound into the sound card. Line out is for sending audio out to speakers or some other device.

Optical connection on the phoebus at the bottom end of the outputs. It labeled as rear/spdif out on the connections plate. You put this adapter in that plug and enable it in the control panel....

Honestly it would best if you save up enough money to get the bifrost uber no usb for $419 so you dont kick your self later on. You can keep your eye on amazon to see if a B-stock bifrost uber comes...
