Actually it's because it takes advantage of NVENC...

Actually it's because it takes advantage of NVENC which is a hardware encoder on Kepler cards..

The slowdowns happen when PhysX is off, I've tried it on a 670. Gearbox kept saying they're looking into it since the game was released, time to stop looking at it and actually do something about it....
