I don't think they're similar. I believe the 300zx tried to be somewhat luxurious and GT whereas the 370z isn't.

My friend has a PowerColor 290x and I honestly don't even know if he's got a chance to use it yet. He RMA'd his 290x three times and all three had issues. They sent him a fourth, which finally worked.

I like ones that don't punish you for driving slowly over them. It should be really smooth unless you're going too fast. Sadly most are just plain rough even if I'm moving at a crawl.
