well something like a batch operation, so it runs through all files and outputs them to a text file.

do you actually know how many songs are in about 500gb lol , i would not finish the list this year :p

i think i need something to output the filename and file extention to a textfile , think thats whats best, since i also have some other file formats besides the mp3's.

no ive got mp3,flac,sid etc . i dont want a playlist, since some extentions require different players.
i want to make a list of all files, and folders with their extention, and to be outputted to a textfile.

so i think the title was a bit misleading, i want to make a list then more of just mp3's

Do you mean an output something like this?

    Code:
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\Piece of Mind\Where Eagles Dare.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\Piece of Mind\Revelations.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\Piece of Mind\Flight of Icarus.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\Piece of Mind\Die With Your Boots On.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\Piece of Mind\The Trooper.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\The Number Of The Beast\01 Invaders.mp3
E:\Music\Iron Maiden\The Number Of The Beast\02 Children Of The Damned.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\The Number Of The Beast\03 The Prisoner.mp3
    E:\Music\Iron Maiden\The Number Of The Beast\04 22 Acacia Avenue.mp3
    E:\Music\Some Band\Some Song.ogg
That's an m3u8 file from Foobar2k. An m3u file will have this but every second line will have the artist/title on it, although that's pretty simple to remove.

Or just press "Windows + R", type cmd, hit enter, go to the directory your music files are in and type "dir > mymusic.txt".
