whats on the go all? Just bored so i figured id see what everyone has to say about the console verses the PC debate. Love to hear what everyone has to say.
OMG, FIRST to right on this thread, (Sorry second thanks Kyzler for messing that up lol joke) there was a thread like this a little while back, it is obvious pc have better hardware and will beat a PS3, but if a PC was optimised for gaming then it would kick the PS3 factory s*** right were the sun don't shine out of the gaming, PC's better if you game and like internet surfing, listening to music and videos etc. PS3 better for more car and shooting games, There will be PS3 fanboys, There will be PC fanboys, PC better FPS, Me +1 for PC, PC FTW! c1: But... ... I just love consoles, that's why I spend a great deal of my time playing with my PC, upgrading, tweaking and posting and reviewing PC hardware forums like this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:stewpid:
If you have no interest in hardware or software console is a perfect for you. If you have then you'll chose PC for those reasons or if you are ONLY FPS(first person shooter) fan or pro gamer ( because playing FPS on anything but keyboard and mouse is just noobish and pro gaming is not possible on anything else . ( while you can still love to play on console ) I would chose a PC, while of course I love to play on consoles because they have a huge number of great exclusive titles ( like ff, mgs, fighting games ( teken, dead or alive, soul calibur itc.), resident evil,Ace Combat, fatal frame, and so on... )
Consoles now have become more social than what they used to be. 360 really set this off with it's live. PC is only social, if someone has a program like X-fire, or teamspeak. But, not everyone does, and not every game has voice support. I think for a social network, x-fire is probably the best for PC, but not everyone uses it... Besides the Wii, consoles today have turned into something more that plays games. I'm again going to use the 360, as it has netflix, and you can rent movies and tv shows off of it, sd, or HD. Now PS3, you can rent, or buy movies or tv shows. Since HDDVD didn't do so well, the 360 has no hd disk like the ps3 does with bluray, which is a pretty nice price for a bluray player, and more.

PC of course, what CAN'T it do? A pc does it all, from web surfing to gaming to web/graphics designing, etc. Some may complain that a console is better for racing/shooting game but I disagree. Although consoles have game/joypads but what stops one from BUYING one to use on a pc?? There are loads of joy/gamepads out there for a pc that are 10 times better than that of a console. Also, do not forget that unlike a console you can CUSTOMISE your buttons, making it so much easier to play and enojoy! I remember playing GTA San Andreas on my pc at 1920X1080, 16XAA and 16AF silky smooth with a lovely logitech cordless wingman joypad! A console cannot touch a pc in the end!
All three of the current consoles can watch porn.>_> 360, you can stream it, or watch it from a disk. Wii, you need the internet channel. PS3, you can stream it, watch it from a disk, or internet. Although I've never seen boobies on my PS3...D:
For my FPS, RTS type games... Multimedia, Web Browsing, etc... i go on my PC. For my Guitar Hero/Rockband... Castle Crasher! 3rd person shooting, fighting games, RPG etc.. I go with my 360. For goin on a plane trip and bored to hell I play on my DS hah. I have always been a only PC gamer till now when there are just some games that I would play only on the platform they are designed for. For instance would you play StarCraft on a console? or would you play a racing game on a PC without having to purchase gamepads and such.
How about we compare people carriers(car) to sports cars. Both can do their job well. Both have slightly different roles. Some of their roles cross. But the OP knew this. So yawn at your flame attempt....now lets discuss religion and politics and see if we all agree on that....oh wait.
