Only for 2 weeks, and its not even a disconnection, as it says they still got to be allowed to e-mail, instant message and use VOIP etc..., which you can't do unless your connected to the internet, LOL

So ironically they have likely blocked HTTP and left p2p open

You'd think there would be more file-sharing in France with all the beauticians around there...

Yea I wonder how that would work out in court

Millions of letters seems a bit exaggerated!

Millions of letters to many people throughout the whole of France, not just this 1 guy ;)

This guy was just the first who got "disconnected" under the Hadopi law.

If that had been the UK, his door would have would have been knocked off its hinges, and his rig removed for forensic examination, while he languished in some prison cell! ;)

Your first reply suggested a misunderstanding.

if they're going to allow emails etc then it's not disconnection and i recommend a re-word in the Hadopi Law because it almost sounds like the stuff in the bible..

where god's commandment says: "Thou Shall Not Kill"..

but still the merciful loving God allowed moses to drown thousands of egyptian. (thou shall not kill, but i'm still going to allow you to kill for whatever reason).

yee, we'll disconnect you from the Internet for 2 weeks but you can still use the Internet for Voip and Email.

what kind of disconnection is that? LOL.
