AMD to update R9 280X with Tahiti XTL based GPU

    This is true after checking the bios of the card but my point was Newegg has it listed in the product description as an XTL chip but Gigabyte's product page does not. The quoted text in my post is from Newegg's product specification section of their listing. How do they know?

    As Stealballs said. I did a bit of looking into it, according to the bios at least, the only confirmed cards to be running XTL (if the bioses are correct) are HIS and MSI currently, at least out of HIS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus.
