aliens look good sofar, maybe better then avp but bit hard to tell. how they look for you since you were there? oh a quote nm .
Woah, can't wait. This looks exactly like ALIENS the movie, my personal fav. Straight buy i guess, not a lot you could **** up with a game like this.
Hopefully this game will be much better than the dreadfully mediocre Aliens vs. Predator, which managed to turn what should have been an exciting franchise into a dull, plodding one with lame level design, poor A.I. and boring objectives. How can anyone mess it up? The graphics were the only good thing in the game and even they were disappointing.
Hopefully this game will be good, but i reckon its a 50/50 chance,it will probably end up being just average.
Observing the time it takes them to finish it...A:CM is going to rock. It's Gearbox, not some second rate developer.
Can't wait and hope fully the coding wont get screwed it like it did with AvP2010 with using textures above normal.
looks quite good. AVP was excellent, unfortunately never been a fan of the Alien compaign so i finished the Predator (my favorite) and the Marine then uninstalled it.
Are those screenshots or arts? AFAIK, old screenies looked really nice and promising back in a day, I wonder what they did with it so far. Can't really say if I'm onto this title anymore as long as I don't see the real deal.
Screenshots look pretty good if they are actually game shots, and not concept art. Would be pretty impressive if it was considering this game is supposed to be using the Unreal Engine 3, but hoping its at least DX10 and has native AA for starters.
I thought this was cancelled? Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly happy it's still going (and looks amazing), but still.
The game was put on hold a while back so Gearbox could focus on finishing up Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway and Borderlands. Shortly after finishing Borderlands Randy did say that development on A:CM would continue, though slowly.
My bad, I thought it said when they announced they're going to be completing DNF, this was put on hold indefinitely. Thanks for the clarification
DNF is basically finished, they are just working on final beta stages, you know last step bug fixes and optimizations... small polishing stages. Aliens is in development, but not the main focus at the moment. After DNF is released early next year Aliens will probably go on full speed with the new, fourth Brothers in Arms title taking Aliens spot at a very slow development.
sooner have A:CM than dnf anyday , looks like a console port dnf does and i will not buy a console port
A console port? Triptych studios and 3DRealms developed the PC version of DNF, Triptych finished the PC build. Gearbox came in to help polish the PC version and with the help of Piranha Games port it to the 360 and PS3. The consoles are getting a PORT.
