If Microsoft didn't put so much restrictions on having Windows RT preinstalled instead of retail and restricting the full use of the desktop, I think Windows RT would have done better. Honestly, I wouldn't mind to build an HTPC with Windows RT powered by an ARM chip because they're really power efficient and they have enough horsepower for me to run a nice HTPC setup. deltatux
It's still a rumour and I feel that the Modern UI should have been spun off as an entirely new "Modern OS" and given priority in development .. it would've been much easier to market and accept. It would've been great for the ARM based machines.
