    Id assume the 7800xt is around the 4070ti. Not bad at all!

    FSR2.2 really falls appart sometimes. 3.1 cant come soon enough. Just look at this moving cloth. I atleast mitigate the issue by reducing the sharpening to 0 but still looks bad. This is the default 5.

    Xess solves that but the smearing is insane. You cant play like that. Also, it does not improves performance at all in ultra quality mode.

    Could partially also be caused by bad input data though, also native TAA looks a bit weird already.

    native TAA looks good than other AA mode and also give huge fps increase when FG enabler. lukefzmods 0.10.3 give ghosting when activate DLSS upscaler mode. this game has a bad DLSS FG upscaler imo
    wanna try to inject DLLSFG or find another DLLSG driver from techpowerup .. lol

    Do you get constant 70+ fps with 6800XT?

    Yes constant 70-80fps in the open world max settings. Thats a 1440 ultrawide. I assume at regular 1440p it would be even higher.

    4K FSR3 Quality + FG + AFMF = ~330 fps on 7900 XTX in HFW, lolz.

    FSR3 FG is a stuttery, shimmering mess in Robocop

    DLSS3 FG for comparison

    I'm absolutely loving the game btw. Best I've seen UE5 look so far.

    New Uniscaler mod btw. can basically convert "anything to everything" (except FSR 3 FG -> DLSS 3 FG).

    FSR 3 native AA vs. XeSS native AA + FG:

    XeSS is more stable, but the blurring of animated foliage is way more distracting imho. Look at the grass...

    Cross replied by the HFW thread since I had the tab open and the issue is even more noticeable at 1080p, like I said there I don't like the implemented FSR2 version either.
    The issue could be anyway partially mitigated by adding the following change on the AMD FidelityFX SDK 1.0 ffx_fsr2_postprocess_lock_status.h:
    Code:
    	fLockStatus[LOCK_LIFETIME_REMAINING] *= ffxSaturate(1.0f - params.fAccumulationMask);
    	flockStatus[LOCK_LIFETIME_REMAINING] *= FfxFloat32(params.fAccumulationMask.r > 0.1f); // LINE OF INTEREST
    	fLockStatus[LOCK_LIFETIME_REMAINING] *= FfxFloat32(params.fDepthClipFactor < 0.1f);

    The parameter should under circumstance (your photo) increase the perceived quality of FSR2 at 1080p and higher resolution.
    Adjusting the // Accumulation const on ffx_fsr2_common.h especially the fAccumulationMaxOnMotion would also yield less garbling while panning.

    They continue with their shitty fsr 2.1 implementation.

    It's really not great. There is similar jitter issue of some foliage like in CoD, it just constantly flickers even in still scene without any motion or partial occlusion (and also without noisy crap SSAO shader).

    I wonder if this is done with FSR 2.1 in Witcher 3. Unlike FSR 2 in many other games, it doesn't get noisy when panning the camera. But it has the same issue when wrapping DLSS to FSR via mod.

    I already said last year that we should not expect fsr3 until the Nvidia deal expires. For FSR2 the deal for dlss exclusivity was 6 months. If it's the same as last time we should expect fsr3 in April or May. I freaking hate remedy and cdpr for their shitty deals.

    Horizon FW does not smear using Xess with xmx instructions on ARC gpus. With a DP4a fallback is unusable. I already see where this is going...

    "DLSS and FSR2 present in line with our many prior analyses - but something's up with XeSS using its DP4a path on non-Intel GPUs. The image is generally very soft, with all particles presenting with giant smearing artefacts. Using XeSS on an actual Intel Arc GPU based on the ML path produces improved results - but the vibrating clouds and other post-processing issues are somewhat off-putting. Intel and Nixxes have work to do here as the performance level on my Arc A770 is not hot, even with dynamic resolution scaling."
