System req are funny like always but yeah, Xbone had some really nasty slowdowns on 720p so i'm not surprised. I guess they want to avoid that...
This is a fun but technically underwhelming game on the XBO, running at 720p and 30 FPS, so the PC version should look and run much better. I will certainly pick it up for the PC and trade in/sell my XBO copy. I'd love to see Forza Motorsport come the PC as well but somehow I doubt it'll ever happen.
Capcom's PC releases in the past years have gotten much, much better. I can hope this trend carries on with this one.
http://n4g.com/news/1530385/dead-rising-3-for-pc-is-optimized-for-30-fps 30 FPS but you can uncap it though it might cause some glitches.
Atleast they're honest, though it also means the obvious of it being designed for console only with the PC being an afterthought. They really must of been hurting for performance from the xbox if they needed (not sure if true) to tie animations to the 30 fps cap. Been reading comments on a few websites an such in response to this news. Please dont let the amount of stupid i've seen seep onto this forum. There are some really self entitled toss pots out there today.
So many people seem to not realize what you said. When a game is hard coded for console without PC in mind etc.etc.. , of course it's gonna be pain and suffering to get it 60-120fps+ with ease. And to mention that this game doesn't even require any precision or low latency control to play. You just mash attack button on brainless zombies and that's it.

I remember some dev talking on twitch that it's designed for xbone, unified memory, and 30 fps ... lol. It's very likely to be a sloppy port. They can keep their ****.
30fps lock and Capcom still tries to justify it.... HAHAHA yeah just look at those expected PC sales drop
Yes, but Capcom said you can remove the frame rate cap. But, they did say doing so could result in some issues. But they are leaving it up to players if they want to or not. All I want to know, will DR3 follow DR2's PC path or will it allow us to remap our controls.
I remember in one of the videos I posted they said you can. And seamless kb/pad swap, which is always nice.
You guys seen this post by Capcom? http://steamcommunity.com/app/265550/discussions/0/522730535829776687/
