I like the new drivers(much less FPS drops in CoD4). But I still have a problem with CCC.

I mean seriously, how hard can it be to make it part of the release? the drivers can be modded by just a few lines of text in the right files and presto.
I believe that AGP is not officially supported by ATI as they are not the ones makeing the cards. It is something done by the manufacturer of your card and you should get drivers from them.

These are the "Official" release and there maybe some further tweaks that aren't in the 8.8Beta, personally I would upgrade and test with 3dMark06.

After downloading the new driver the Vista 32 bit version the supposed complete installation i found it strange i did not have to restart. I checked the driver folder and it was empty as drouge said .So I then downloaded the seperate driver after installing that I had to restart the system. I cannot believe it they forgot to put the drivers in the full installation if you want new drivers and you are using vista 32 you need to download the seperate driver ffiles.

Actually with 8.7 and above you dont need to restart the system after a driver update.

I get an NSIS error stating that the package is corrupt and can't unpack. This is for the Vista 64 version. I will try the separate driver and CCC package now.

EDIT: The separate driver and CCC package worked.

Not true, ATI always releases an AGP hotfix which includes the 9515 device ID. Just by doing this is in a way supporting the AGP cards.

Vista needs another year.

Too much that does not work properly, reason i took it off.

And in the readme, still alot of games to be fixed in vista.

dx10 ftw not!

Anyone got the opengl version number

Actually Vista works just fine and apart from TDU that doesn't work all too well with Custom AA filters (works fine with regular Box filter), i haven't seen a single game that would have any noticeable problems on Vista or even HD4850 which is considered a very new card.

Installed mine without issues....got em direct from ATI site.

Vantage scores roughly the same as the beta and all seems fine so far, fairly new Vista 64 install.
